Acupuncture

Acupuncture is an ancient Chinese therapy administered through the painless insertion of disposable, sterile needles to specific acupressure points. The needles stimulate the flow of Chi through the body's meridians to re-open the Chi pathway, increasing energy flow to internal organs, enhancing the body's own healing power.

Cupping Therapy

A therapy in which a jar is placed on the skin surface to cause local congestion, through the removal of the air in the jar. This ancient medical treatment method promotes the free flow of Qi and blood in the channels in order to promote healing.

Reflexology

This is a popular, relaxing and holistic treatment based on the principle of reflex points on the soles, tops and sides of the feet being connected to corresponding areas throughout the body. In this way, the feet can be seen as "a map of the body". The doctor will work on the reflexes, with thumbs and fingers, using a variety of pressure techniques.

Traditional Chinese Massage - "Tui Na"

At Han Acuherbs, we use Traditional Chinese Massage (also known as "Tui Na") to provide an excellent way to relax the mind, body and spirit. It enhances general health and vitality by easing tension in muscles and joints. It improves circulation, helps lymphatic drainage and tones the body. It is particularly effective in healing and dispelling of pain in conditions such as back, neck and joint pain, headaches and sports injuries etc.

Moxibustion

The application of mild heat to the body, again at particular acupoints, with glowing Moxa wool (a finely chopped herb-Folium Artemisia), entirely painless.

Body Naturual Care

Our body is like a car, which requires regular checkups and maintenance to elongate life span. Each organ needs to work individually on a specific task as well as working together to bring harmony to our body. Once the equilibrium is disturbed, health problems may occur. Initially, the problem may not be identified even with high technology equipment.  Your doctor may suggest you take pain killers, steroids, antibiotics, antidepressants and so on. You may feel better afterwards but you may have to reply on these medicines for you entire life. Taking these medicines in the long term may add side effects to your body which would occur as a bigger problem at later stage, such as liver, kidney and stomach accumulated burden.

Instead of waiting for weeks or months for your check ups at the hospital, you can have a free consultation with our doctor which would take approximately 20 minutes. Do not wait till your conditions exacerbate and miss the opportunity to improve your health.

Our doctor could use TCM to help you to identify the problem in no time and give you an appropriate treatment plan. It is therefore a truly holistic form of medicine, aiming at treatment of the whole body rather than just the symptoms. This is a real contribution of TCM to human well being and also the reason why is has existed in China for thousands of years and has been approved in more than 160 countries and regions world wide, demonstrating TCM's high international regard. Our aim is to help patients to control their health conditions and maintain good health.
